KCCA Leopards who seemed determined to walk away with a winner's trophy during game 6 of the Pepsi National Basketball League best-of-seven series on Wednesday night were disillusioned when the UCU Lady Canons defied all odds to level the series 3-3 at YMCA.

UCU thumbed their opponents 78-75 in a captivating contest to take the series to game seven.

The rivals will be meeting in game seven on Friday at Lugogo.

Timothy Odeke told new vision that despite the disappointment, he is sure his side will end the League smiling.

"I was disappointed that everything did not go to plan. However I'm certain we won't be disappointed a second time." Odeke stated.

"All we have to do is put pressure on our opponents and we shall end the season a happy team."

However,UCU coach Nick Natuhereza also stated that he is confident of retaining the League title.

"My team has got what it takes to win the League so I'm not worried about that. We are going to continue pushing harder to the end and we are not about to give in to defeat," said UCU's Natuhereza.

UCU will have to count on Uganda's best shooting guard Judith Nansobya who nailed a game high 26 points for the reigning champions to level the series.

Ritah Imanishimwe and Sara Ageno added 16 and 12 points respectively for their side (Lady Canons.).
