The Orland brothers Aviv, Stav and Alon have boosted the morale of Uganda's motocross team preparing for the FIM Central Africa Motocross Championship in the Kenyan capital Nairobi.

The trio returned from USA where they have been on holiday and training with American trainer Daniel Sedlak.

Aviv Orland is the 85cc class FIM Africa Motocross Champion having beaten all top riders from South Africa, Kenya, Zimbabwe and Botswana during the event held in Kenya in August.

"They are back and they are training at Busiika as they prepare for the event in Kenya next weekend," confirmed their mother Evas Orland.

The brothers' arrival has bouoyed the team spirits, especially following the death of Major Muhammad Kiggundu last month.

Kiggundu, shot dead on the morning of November 26 by runaway hitmen in Masanafu, was the father of Jaidi Kiggundu, Talha Kiggundu (MX1 open class), Fatuh Kiggundu (MX2) and Habibu Kiggundu in the 65cc class.

Fatuh Kiggundu is the 2016 national champion in the MX2 class having beaten rivals Ali Omar and Alestair Blick.
