Newly appointed Betway Kobs coach Edmond Tumusiime has started work, calling for dedication and commitment from players for the club to achieve its target this year.
A former Kobs' flyhalf, and arguably the best flyhalf the country has produced, Tumusiime quit rugby to concentrate on other work a few years back but has since returned to the sport in a coaching role.
Many had thought he was returning for active rugby as a player.
"We must be serious and we have to be committed to the team," Tumusiime told his charges at his first training at Legends Rugby Club on Tuesday.
"We must all attend the training on schedule. This business of coming to training any time of your wish must end if we are to perform," he added before taking them through some drills.
Last Saturday, Kobs lost to Rhinos 34-20 which led to the sacking of coach Mirko Dal Molin the following day.
Tumusiime, who has been serving as assistant coach at the club, was handed full authority by former teammate and now club chairman Adrian Bukenya.
His first assignment will be against Impis this Saturday at Makerere.
