I may be slightly or heavily biased in my assessment, but I find that there is one set of campus party animals that are in a different league compared to others.

The Gulu University students that graced the latest Club Dome stop were exactly that; creating a refreshing party atmosphere.

They sung along, displayed dace strokes I have never seen before and drunk to the very last drop of every bottle opened.

Now that's how best I can describe my first night in Gulu town as hundreds of revelers on Friday evening stormed the venue of the party, Acholi Inn.

With a lot on the menu, the crowd got off its toes when northern-based artistes stepped on stage as early as 8:30pm.

Singer Akello the latest singing sensation was the first to perform at the event before leaving the stage for Gulu star BSG Labongo who too thrilled the crowd.

Labongo, a PAM Awards winner in the early 2000s set the bar high for fast rising duo, Kent and Flosso of Voltage Music who didn't disappoint thanks to their songs; "Tom and Jerry", "Pull Up" and their recent collaboration with Nutty Neithan titled, "Sampo".

The crowd was then treated to some mixes from DJs Dash, Roger and Slick Stuart till late before the main act of the night, dancehall star Ziza Bafana took over with a highly energetic performance backed up by his dancer Eve.

It was a fitting end to the countrywide university tour powered by Club Pilsener with the Gulu crowd outdoing their peers at other institutions.
