Vipers are not leaving anything to chance ahead of their upcoming Uganda Premier League tie with SC Villa at Nakivubo Stadium on December 3rd.

The Kitende side that resumed training at the start of this week, put up a stellar performance when they hosted a Zana select side in a friendly. They thrashed them 7-1 at Kisubi.

Youngster Pius Wangi who recently returned to the team after an ankle injury scored four goals with Duncan Seninde, Joseph Semujju and Brian Nkuubi each scoring the rest.

"I was excited playing and scoring goals, it's a perfect thing to do and I hope I can continue scoring for my team" stated Wangi.

The 2014/15 champions are currently third in the league with 20 points, four behind second placed SC Villa.

KCCA top the table with 28 points.
