The residents of Wera Sub County had mixed reactions to the challenge faced by the LC3

The office of the LC3 chairperson for Wera Sub County in Amuria district has failed to execute its duties of service delivery as expected due to inadequate transport.

James Abura the LC3 chairperson said sensitizing the local population on government programs and reaching the lower communities to attend functions is very difficult due to lack of a motorcycle for him.

Abura said he commutes from his home for over ten kilometres either a boda boda or a bicycle on a daily basis because he was handed a motorcycle in bad mechanical condition.

"I'm asking my people who want services from me to come to the office or you can call me on phone then I explain to you issues of government programs" Abura said.

The residents of Wera Sub County had mixed reactions to the challenge faced by the LC3.

Some said that corruption in the sub county might have led to lack of funds for repairing the motorcycle.
