KCCA FC to play Kenyan Champions Tusker FC

KCCA FC will not have any other Azam Uganda Premier League match until December 3, 2016.

Kampala City Council Authority (KCCA) football club expects to play Kenyan Premier League champions Tusker FC in friendly match at the Phillip Omondi at Lugogo on Saturday.

Tusker will be crowned champions of the Kenya on November 19 for the 11th time, and seven days later they will face their Ugandan counterparts KCCA FC in an international friendly.

The match will happen on the invitational of KCCA FC as they gauge their team as they prepare for the 2017 CAF Champions League.

KCCA FC Chief Executive Officer David Tamale said that the game is one of the series of matches the club will play in preparations for the CAF Champions League next year.

"We want to play against the best from the region as we prepare for our continental engagements next year and Tusker are the right candidates to give us that test," Tamale said.

KCCA FC will not have any other Azam Uganda Premier League match until December 3, 2016.
