FDC embarks on countrywide mobilisation program

A total of 2,839 leaders are expected to benefit from the program

Leading opposing party Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has kicked off a national wide program to strengthen their party structures.

The program is aimed at reviewing the party's performance in the February 18 election, handling conflict management and resolution.

The party's secretary for mobilization, Ingrid Turinawe said they are going to traverse all the 15 sub regions countrywide meeting all leaders through retreats.

The program is to start in Ankole, Mabrara district on Tuesday under the theme; "Strengthening FDC to Consolidate our Achievements and Enhance Party Cohesion".

Turinawe revealed this while addressing the media at the party's weekly press briefing in Kampala today.

She said they expect a total of 2,839 leaders to benefit from the program.

The party spokesperson, Ibrahim Semujju Nganda said they have invited experts both from abroad and within to facilitate the workshops.
