FUFA introduces women's knock out competition

National Soccer governing body FUFA has introduced a first ever knock out competition in women football. The FUFA Women's Cup will involve both league and non-league  teams.  

Registration across the nation for all interested women football clubs/teams to take part in this maiden edition started on Thursday and is expected  to end on December 17.

FUFA Women Elite League clubs will pay shs 100,000 for registration while regional league and non-league teams will pay shs 70,000 and shs 150,000 respectively.

Draws for  the tournament  will be conducted on January 11th next year and the event will kick off on January 21.
