Leaders of the Mengo Kisenyi based team have been engrossed in administrative wrangles

Uganda Beach Soccer Association (UBSA) has thrown out pioneer beach soccer league club Buwanika Bulls BSC for missing three consecutive matches in the National Beach Soccer League.

Leaders of the Mengo Kisenyi based team have been engrossed in administrative wrangles forcing them to miss matches contrary to regulations of the league.

The association is also investigating Kabalagala Rangers, International University of East Africa (IUEA), Kayunga Town Council and Dalumba International BSC for further sanctions after the teams absconded from their respective league matches at Lido beach on Sunday.

Out of eight fixtures in the men's league, UBSA held only three and awarded walkovers against the above clubs with chairman of the association Deo Mutabazi promising more sanctions.

"They had the option to report to the league committee early enough. They only acted at the time they were supposed to play. May be they are not genuine. We shall apply the law if they are found guilty," Mutabazi said.

Dalumba, Kabalagala Rangers, IUEA and Kayunga TC beach soccer team officials reported that they could not turn up for the matches because many of their key players were not available because they had gone for FUFA regional league matches in Kampala, Buganda and Eastern Uganda.
