Rhinos prove too strong for Buffaloes.

It was a walk in the park as Rimula Rhinos humiliated Toyota Buffaloes 38-3 in the national rugby league first round fixture at Legends rugby club on Saturday.

The game only lived to its billing in the first half that ended 7-0 for hosts Rhinos and fans thought there could be an upset in the second half.

Bu the home side returned even stronger, scoring five tries courtesy of Byron Atubikire, Daudi Ssemwami, Richard Aciku,Francis Odonga and Eric Mulamula who scored two tries , before Stallone Arinaitwe added  three conversions and Kevin Makmot  another conversion.

"We still have a lot to work, but are not worried because this was our second game of the league and we have time to put things right before our fourth or fifth game," said coach Brian Makalama.

In the other games of the day at Legends, Betway Kobs beat Sadolin Mongers 19-10 in another lackluster game.

At Kyadondo Heathens thrashed Makerere Impis 53-5 while Rams beat Gulu Elephants 30-5 at the Graveyard ground Makerere.
