It was not until the end of the first half of game two of Pepsi National Basketball League Best-of-five semifinals that Bonifance Okello began to worry about the flaws of his team.

The weak defence and poor execution in attack was the sole reason for JKL loss against KCCA on Thursday at lugogo.

Okello told New Vision that the small mistakes that his players made were the reason for their loss.

"I knew that we had lost the second game from the time the defence weakened. This and a few other mistakes let us down. However we are going to work on them to better ourselves for game 3," Okello said.

KCCA are now 1-1 with JKL in the series after winning 71-67.

Flavia Oketcho , MUhaimna  Namuwaya and Moreen Amonding contributed 17, 13 and 11 points respectively for  the four time defending champions who started to claim their win by  half time (35-29).

Stella Oyella and Jamila Nansikombi contributed 16 and 17 points respectively for JKL.

Meanwhile in the men's game, Isaac Afidra and Micheal Kojo scored a game- high 20 points apiece as Power leveled the series at 1-1 against KIU (83-67).

Joseph Ikong added 19 points for his team as they dominated the game from the first quarter.
