Uganda Gazelles drawn in Pool A

Pool A: France, Samurai, Tuks Ladies, Tabusoro Angels and Uganda Gazelles.

Pool B: Belgium, Ireland, Tribe 7s, Kenya, Poland

The Uganda women rugby 7s team The gazelles, have been drawn in pool A of the Women's International invitational category at the Dubai 7s in UAE.

The Uganda Gazelles will be out against Samurai, the French development side, Tuks ladies and Tabusoro Angels. The games start December 2.

In pool B, Africa's representatives at the rugby sevens competition at the 2016 Olympic games in Rio De Jeneiro and winner of the Bowl Kenya is in pool B with Ireland, Belgium, Poland and Tribe 7s.

Coach Helen Buteme is optimistic her girls will register good results.

"This tournament will give much needed exposure to our mostly young team and will allow us to gauge where our players stand," stated Buteme.
