Agricultural exhibition excites Karamoja

Communities have been urged to grasp the opportunity to learn

The 2nd Karamoja Agricultural and Trade Fair exhibition has registered an impressive turn up from exhibitors as the week long agribusiness show started in Moroto. 

Monday afternoon which was the reporting date for exhibitors saw more than 30 firms and organizations within and outside Karamoja including neighbours from Turkana land in Kenya had registered their presence. 

According to the event manager, Robinson Okumu, a number of exhibitors including renowned firms and organizations like Crestank, Kavuma Recreational Centre, NARO among others have already set the ground to showcase their various products. 

Abraham Edatu, a technical advisor in the Karamoja Business Leadership Forum said the second event has lots in store and far better than that the first exhibition, urging the communities to grasp the opportunity to learn. 

The event supported by Mercycorpse, International Rescue Committee (IRC) and other partners target about 250 exhibitors and will run up to Sunday.
