Physical education teachers and coaches have been equipped with skills that make physical education more entertaining and easier for participants to learn during training.

The training was conducted by experts from Holland through a sports organization Cradle Sports at Kyadondo Rugby Club. It was attended by 30 coaches and teachers from around Kampala.

The workshop coordinator, Paul Nyangabyaki said that Physical education had lost its original meaning and children were no longer benefiting or enjoying it the way they did way in the past.

"What we are doing is to train coaches who will in turn train others besides implementing what they have learnt at their various places of work," Nyangabyaki said.

"We shall also be taking these trainings outside Kampala next season."

The facilitators of the course Willem Harlaar, Joost Harlaar and Martijm Harlaar said that the training was good for the coaches.
