Apopong sub county authorities in Pallisa district have vowed to reject any supply of inputs to farmers under the Operation Wealth Creation (OWC) program that are delivered on time.

He also castigated the officials of continuously distributing inputs during dry spell.

Okello told New Vision that some of the mango and orange seedlings that were recently distributed to the farmers have dried up.

"More seedlings are going to dry up in the anticipated dry spell" he added.

However, Maj. Quirino Otule, the coordinator operation wealth creation Toroma County blamed failure by the seedlings to survive in the dry spell to erratic weather patterns.
