Express had gone five games without a win; drawing four and losing one

Express coach Wasswa Bbosa has resigned as the head coach of the club.

Bbosa made the remarks after his side settled for a 1-1 draw with URA in the Uganda Premier League on Tuesday at Wankulukuku Stadium.

"Today has been my last game at Express. I requested the club executive to leave since I feel I can no longer work within this kind of environment" Bbosa stated after the match.

"The performance of the players was down today because I had earlier told them that I was leaving after URA game" he added.

Express chairperson Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi at halftime told the club fans that Bbosa was supposed to win the URA game if he was to remain the team's coach.

"Our coach Bbosa was given a letter reflecting that he needs to win the URA game if he was to stay at club" Nakiwala stated.

Bbosa's exit comes after Express had gone five games without a win; drawing four and losing one.
