FUFA to promote beach soccer

FUFA has promised to support the development of beach soccer in Eastern Uganda.

This was revealed by FUFA president Moses Magogo during a four day beach soccer coaching course organised by Uganda Beach Soccer Association at Busoga University.

"I take this opportunity to thank Busoga University for hosting this course here for the last four days. We are really happy for the support you have accorded towards the development of the game in Uganda. FUFA will continue to support development of beach soccer in Eastern Uganda," Magogo stated.

The course was handled by CAF futsal instructor Ali Mwebe who took participants through different course modules both in theory and practical.

Close to 62 participants from Eastern Uganda, Busoga University Beach Soccer Committee and coaches took part.

Busoga University became the first University in Uganda to own a beach soccer pitch.
