Finally the long tale of the 2016 UCA National Women's League came to an end on Saturday with conspicuous champions Tornado Bee closing their chapter with a walk over against Pioneer-they certainly wouldn't ask for more!

Jinja SS could only manage finishing third behind Wanderers despite winning their last game in commanding fashion against Charity who will be relegated to division two.They finished at the very bottom of the log without a single point!

Stephanie Nampiina's half century powered Habib Mugalula's side to the 138 runs victory at Kyambogo oval.

She struck 55 from 98 balls and this was strong a foundation enroute to 172 in 42 overs in the first innings where Charity decided to bowl first.

Rita Musamali weighed in with 27 from 37 balls before claiming 5/15 in 6.1 overs as Charity were all out for 138 in the second innings.

"I feel proud of the girls, they have shown me a high degree of sportsmanship this season and surely next season will be better"said Habib Mugalula, Jinja SS coach.

Charity's top order bat Esther Ngabire managed a mere 7 from 28 balls
