Onito leads pro's at Kinyara Open

Jinja Golf Club professional golfer Opio Onito shot an opening round level par 71 to take a one-stroke lead in the professional category of the Kinyara Golf Open on Saturday.
Onito is a stroke ahead of club mate Fred Wanzala and Entebbe Club's Vincent Byamukama who are tied in joint second on 72 gross each.
Phillip Kasozi's two-over-par 73 has him in third place, ahead of Henry Lujja in fifth and Saidi Mawa and Robert Oluba who are tied in 6th place in the sh10m competition.
Lawrence Muhenda, Denis Anguyo, Happy Robert and last year's winner Brian Mwesigwa make the top ten going into the last round today.
In the amateur category, Chris Basaliza, Ismail Muhamud, Joseph Mawejje and Ashiraf Bagalana
are in the lead in the men's Group A while Nelson Ayiko and Jimmy Mwesige look to be on course for a podium finish, just like Prudence Nimukama, Irene Nakalembe and Martha Babirye in the ladies' category.
