Street vendors back on city streets

Vendors today came back to the streets and are displaying their merchandise. This followed a meeting with the Kampala city Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago at his chambers at city hall.

The vendors agreed with Lukwago and city traders operating business in arcades to vacate streets in front of arcades and occupy other streets such as Nakivubo in an evening market that has to start at 5:00pm local time.
