Maroons FC have returned to the top of the FUFA Big League table having registered a 2-0 win over Lira based side Bright Light FC at home on Thursday.

Patrick Kaddu opened score for the hosts in the 27th minute and substitute Solomon Walusimbi added a second and the final score of the game in the 82nd minute.

The win ensured Maroons returned to the top of the table in the Elgon group, replacing Paidha Black Angels who played to a one all draw with Moroto FC in Moroto.
