Vipers' Nkuubi keen to return to starting XI

Oct 13, 2016

His last appearance was in the 0-1 defeat to Express where he came on as a replacement for injured Halid Lwaliwa

Viper's midfielder Brain Nkuubi believes he can be recalled to the starting line-up if he improves his performances.

"I did not have a good start altogether but I have been working hard especially on my body and training well" Nkuubi who joined the Kitende based side from Kira Young stated.

"I know there is more I have to do, there are so many expectations as well. I want to give my team the best each time I'm selected" he added.

Nkuubi has played just six games this season, starting just one against URA while he has been playing a more defensive role in midfield.

His last appearance was in the 0-1 defeat to Express where he came on as a replacement for injured Halid Lwaliwa.

He will be expected to feature in Vipers' match against Proline on Saturday at Lugogo.
