RCC wants indecent artistes banned from schools

“It is wrong to put emphasis on academics and neglect the other aspects of life. Beneficial education considers the head, the heart and the hands.”
The Deputy Resident City Commissioner of Makindye, Henry Kitambula has asked primary school administrators to stop allowing indecent musicians to interact with their pupils.
He argued that many musicians and media programme presenters had queer behaviours, which the pupils could easily copy.
"Many of our musicians, radio and television presenters dress indecently. Unfortunately they are always invited, or sent to talk to our students. If the pupils see a male musician with a funny hair style, or a female one with a scanty dress, they will also wear funny hair-styles and scanty dresses with the naïve thinking that they too will become celebrities," Kitambuala said.
He was speaking during the celebrations for the children's Rosary Rally at the head office of Holy Cross Family Ministries at Nsambya on Friday.
Kitambula asked teachers and parents to work together and deliver holistic education to the pupils.
"It is wrong to put emphasis on academics and neglect the other aspects of life. Beneficial education puts into consideration the head, the heart and the hands. Students must be able to reason, work and relate well with others."
Kitambula later asked parents to always find time to teach their children moral values like love, patriotism, unity and respect for others.
During mass, Fr. Edward Kabanda encouraged students to develop the passion for praying the rosary, to defeat Satan.
Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police Nicholas Sserwanja from Nsambya-Gogonya Station, asked the people to work in solidarity with the police to end crime.
The Rosary rally was organized by Holy Cross Family Ministries. It attracted students from schools like St. Peter's PS Nsambya, Mother Kevin PS Nsambya, Shiperoy PS, Makindye, St. Henry PS Muyenga, St. Kizito PS Bugoloobi, St. Joseph's PS Nsambya, St. John PS, Mukono, Railway PS Nsambya and Triple P PS, Mukono.
