UCU will be seeking revenge against UMU

Uganda Christian University (UCU) football team has a chance of making it to the semis-finals of the Nile Special University Football League.

The Mukono side hosts Uganda Martyrs University (UMU) in the return leg of the quarterfinal tie on October 13th after they settled for 1-1 draw two weeks ago in Nkozi.

UCU will also be seeking for revenge against UMU, a side that defeated them 4-1 on aggregate at the same stage last season. Previous UCU was also eliminated by KIU in the quarter finals.

This is the third time UCU is taking part in the fifth edition of the league.

Elsewhere, Kyambogo who lost 2-0 in the first leg host Makerere University in the return leg at Luzira on October 12.

At Villa Park, Kampala University faces Busitema University to defend its 2-1 lead from the first leg.

In Entebbe, Nkumba will take on Gulu University after both sides settled for a goalless draw in the first leg.
