KCCA FC will bounce back from Vipers defeat - Byekwaso

Oct 04, 2016

The reigning champions are scheduled to play various trial games during the league break

KCCA FC assistant coach Morley Byekwaso is optimistic that his side will bounce back from last week's set back.

The defending champions lost 2-1 to Vipers on Friday in the Azam Uganda Premier League at Nakivubo Stadium.

"We are going to work on all the frailties witnessed in the loss to Vipers and turn out a superior side against Jinja SSS" Byekwaso stated.

"We don't want to lose more league games after Onduparaka and Vipers as we bid to stay top" he added.

KCCA are scheduled to play various trial games during the league break before they play Kirinya Jinja SS away in Bugembe in their next game.

The reigning champions are top of the table with 18 points from eight games played.

Vipers and Soana are second and third with 15 and 13 points respectively. SC Villa, Onduparaka and Express are joint fifth on 12 points.
