Both Hima cement Heathens and Uganda Cup defending champions Kobs scored a century in the first round of the Uganda Cup games played on Saturday in Mbale and Kyadondo respectively.

Kobs humiliated their hosts Stallions 118-6 in a dull game played at Kyadondo Rugby Club with Keith Sseruyange scoring four tries, Ramathan Govule a hat-trick of tries, Michael Amolo and Alfred Karikaho two tries each.

Augustine Kasansula,Ian Munyani,Oscar Kalyango, Cyrus Watum,Derrick Tukwasibwe,Davis Kiwalabye added a try each while James Ijongat registered a try and 14 conversions.

In Mbale Heathens whipped Mbale Elephants 106-6 in a one sided game.

In Jinja team captain Marvin Odongo live by example scoring two tries, as Dennis Etuket and David Busingye added two each to give Pirates 55-0 victory over hosts Walukuba rugby club.

Still in Jinja, Warriors thumbed Jinja Hippos 50-10 to book a quarter final slot next Saturday.

In Makerere, Impis edged Rams 10-6 in a tight physical game played at the Grave Yard ground.
