Ochieng, Tumusiime top Entebbe September Mug
Sep 26, 2016
Playing off handicap 16, Ocheing beat a strong field of over 90 players to the top prize following a predicted collapse that did not happen.
When he was challenged to prove he was a serious golfer by his playmates Jude Ocheing did not disappoint returning 66nett to emerge the best during the September Entebbe Club Mug of Mugs at Entebbe Club on Saturday.
Playing off handicap 16, Ocheing beat a strong field of over 90 players to the top prize following a predicted collapse that did not happen.
"It was about ego, Davis challenged me and predicted my collapse but I disapproved him in the back nine because I'm a fighter," Ochieng told golfers as he picked his mug from Entebbe Club chairman Twinemanzi Tumubweinee.
Allan Muhereza was also at his usual best edging out Michael Tumusiime to the men's Group A mug where Moses Matsiko finished third.
Patrick Oyee topped Group B with Daniel Opwonya beating Twinemanzi on count-back to finish second and third respectively.
