Former minister Andruale Awuzu passes on

Former state minister of transport and Member of Parliament for Vurra County in Arua district Eng. Andruale Awuzu has passed on.

Awuzu breathed his last at 10:30am this morning at Arua Regional Referral Hospital. He was 75.

According to Dr. Pamela Paparu the daughter of the deceased, Awuzu succumbed to diabetes and acute pneumonia.

Paparu, a researcher at Namulonge Agricultural Institute, eulogised her father as one who wanted them to work hard.

"He has had the ailments for a long time even when he was in Parliament. He was a good father who loved us all and educated us all. He taught us to be independent" Paparu said.
