19 to compete for 2016 Miss Tourism crown

After a tiresome round up of activities where we traversed 12 regions of Uganda in search for three contestants from each making a total of 36 contestants, only 31 made it to the national boot camp  due to un fore seen circumstances. These were unveiled to the public last week at Wonder world auditorium.

These went through a week of training at Uganda Wildlife Education Center (UWEC) and on Sunday September 11, 2016 each region had to lose a contestant at the elimination /talent night That was attended by a massive number of locals and fans.

Here is a list of the eliminated contestants" Nakaye Magret from Buganda Region, Lenia Judith from West Nile Region, Achiro Eve from Karamoja Region, Kabanyoro Racheal from Bunyoro, Goretti Peace from Tooro region,  Kifoola Judith from Teso Region, Ejang Mercy from Northern, Masika Hope from Rwenzori,  Ahumuza Fortunate from Ankole,  Sheila Tekitendwa from Eastern,  Kawala Lydia from Busoga,  Asiimirwe Agnes Kigezi Region.

The 19 finalist continue their boot camp in the wildness Queen Elizabeth National Pack and Lake Mburo National Park.

Grand Finale will take place on September 30, at Serena Hotel Kampala with sh3m cooperate tables, sh 200,000 VIP and sh50,000 ordinary
