Matovu, Ssenkebejje and Ganja to curtain raise for Maxi priest

According to the organizers, the three are a quintessential definition of legends and combined they have over 130 years in music.

Three living music legends Moses Matovu, Tony Ssenkebejje and Eddy Ganja will share the same stage with the legendary Maxi Priest during this years' Nile Gold Jazz Safari.

This after the organizers introduced a new live session 'afro soul & rhumba classics'.

According to the organizers, the three are a quintessential definition of legends and combined they have over 130 years in music.

"This is our tribute to them. It is an honour that these guys are still performing up to date!"

The organizers relay that they will be joined by sultry vocalist Lilian Mbabazi and Saxophonist Michael Kitanda.

 "These two have such a dedication to their craft and their discipline towards the art of music is unquestionable. This mix of the elders and the young ones performing these classics is something we're looking forward to a great deal," relayed the organizers.
