Ofong navigated by Joe Burua in a Subaru N10 has in the previous events pulled out citing a lack of logistics.

The Xplode rally team driver confirmed on Friday after receiving fuel sponsorship from JM Freight Company in Bugolobi for the entire rally.

"It is good my fuel and service crew has been catered for, now I have to perform so that I can maintain the sponsorship next year too," Ofong stated.

Ofong received the fuel and sh1.5m cash from Elisabeth Nabukenya, the company finance and administrative manager who said that they were giving back to their customers and joining hands to promote motorsport which has now a big following.

Ofong urged fans to stay off the roads as there will be high pressure on drivers who want maximum points on the NRC and also those on the ARC.
