Mukula lashed out at CAA saying he had lost about $2.5m

Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has refuted allegations that they have denied Mike Mukula a license to have his two aircrafts start operating as training facilities for pilots.

Two weeks ago Mukula lashed out at CAA saying he had lost about $2.5m since he bought the aircrafts two years ago.

The acting CAA managing director Eng. John Tusubiira said Mukula has never presented any documents indicating ownership of the aircrafts, full operation control and evidence of financial feasibility to run the aircrafts for a given period of time after getting a license.

Tusubiira added that they requested for a meeting with Mukula in April this year but he never turned up and they cannot risk their credibility by issuing a license.
