Lumumba asks muslim pilgrims to pray for Uganda

President Yoweri Museveni has sponsored 103 of the Ugandan Muslims making pilgrimage to Mecca this year. They are leaving the country on Saturday.
The National Resistance Movement's party secretary General Justine Kasule Lumumba has asked the Muslim pilgrims to pray for Uganda and the leaders at different levels.

Speaking during the function to send off the pilgrims at the NRM headquarters in Kampala on Friday, Lumumba said: "Pray for our country so that everything goes on well," said Lumumba.
Madinah Nsereko, an excited pilgrim told New Vision that she had for years planned to go, but she could not raise the money for the journey. "I thank Allah that I have finally made it," said Nsereko. She hailed President Museveni for sponsoring her.
