Dokolo South MP, Felix Okot Ogong wants foreign affairs minister Sam Kutesa recalled from Parliament for failure to attend over 15 sittings.

"I don't know whether he takes the ministry seriously or he takes this Parliament seriously, I don't understand. But you can watch the recordings of Parliament; you will never see the minister of foreign affairs seated on this floor of Parliament. I don't know what is going to happen because our rules are very clear, if a minister or a Member of Parliament does not attend Parliament for 15 consecutive seatings that member is recalled," said Ogong

In the 9th Parliament, two members including former Bubulo West MP Tony Nsubuga Kipoi and a UPDF representative Gen. David Sejusa lost their seats after Parliament adopted recommendations by its Rules and Privileges committee that they had missed 15 sittings of Parliament without clear reasons.

Ogong says that Kutesa has missed several sittings without explanation.
The presiding Speaker, Jacob Oulanyah, however, did not make any decision on the matter.
