Amir Sunday Kawooya is on cloud nine after ditching taxis for driving himself courtesy of Airtel Uganda's Mujje Tulumbe Promo.

Kawooya on Tuesday became the third of eight people to win a brand new Toyota Premio.

"I finally get to live my dream and of course it couldn't have happened without Airtel. I surely can't thank them enough but I guarantee my support for the national team against Comoros next month" said Kawooya, a resident from Kayunga, Mukono.

Airtel who are the official partners of the Uganda Cranes decided to come up with the promotion as a means of mobilizing Ugandans to support the national team as they look to end a 39-year absence from the Africa Cup of nations.

"We launched this consumer promotion to mobilize all Ugandans to come and show support for our national team and to reward all our loyal subscribers," said Remmy Kisakye, the Airtel head of brand and communication

100 tickets are also being given away to fans daily to watch the match live and sh1m in the promotion that started in July to run for 53 days.

When one recharges through Airtel Money or an e-recharge voucher, they stand a chance of winning one of the three packages.

Comoros stands in the way of the Cranes on 4th September, just one win away from guarantee a place at the tournament.
