CAF shifts Uganda v Comoros match to Sep 4

CAF had earlier on scheduled the match for Saturday 3.

CAF has rescheduled the Uganda's last Africa Nations Cup qualifiers with Comoros to Sunday 4 September 2016.

According to the continental football governing body, the match should be played at Mandela National Stadium, Kampala under floodlights as the kickoff is at 8:30 East African time.

CAF had earlier on scheduled the match for Saturday 3, September 2016, with kickoff for 4:00pm local time.

A FUFA official had earlier on said that the federation was negotiating with CAF to maintain the day and time of the match that could see Uganda Cranes end a 39-year wait to return to AFCON finals.

Uganda needs any win to qualify for the finals in Gabon.

CAF has assigned the match to Senegalese referees Malang Diedhiou, Djibril Camara and El Hadji Malick Samba.
