Corporate League member CIPLA Quality Chemicals today aided Kiru Primary School in Abim district Karamoja with 30 bags of Cement and 20 drums for water storage.

The items were handed over this afternoon to Corporate League chairman Richard Okot by the CIPLA Quality Chemicals CEO Nevin Bradford at the company offices in Luzira.

"Corporate League approached us and indeed this school which was founded in 1947 must be in need of renovation and that is why we have supported the cause," Bradford stated.

Okot lauded CIPLA Quality Chemicals and urged other corporates and Ugandans to emulate them by supporting this noble cause.

"We as Corporate League are happy that CIPLA has come to support this noble cause and I urge other corporates to emulate CIPLA," Okot made the appeal.

He added that they have already received support from companies including DFCU Bank, Kenya Commercial Bank, FIDUGA Farm and URA.

The donations will be taken to Kiru primary school next Friday and will be handed over to the school management after a soccer game between the area leaders and Corporate League.
