Kenya to host All Africa Ultimate Club Championships

Kenya will host the second edition of the All Africa Ultimate Club Championships, The World Flying Disk Federation has confirmed.

The two day tournament will attract a strong cast of pure cutters, handlers and hybrids from across East Africa to the University of Nairobi, Kenya, starting June 2 -4, 2017.

"We are happy and pleased with the way the sport of Ultimate in Africa is growing. And therefore announce that the second edition of the All Africa Ultimate Club Championships is on next year in Nairobi," said  Nob Rauch, President of WFDF.

Nyayo stadium will also host some of the championship games as Kampala ultimate will travel to neighbouring Kenya as the defending champions having won the previous and first edition that was held last year in Kampala.

Kampala Ulimate will bank on star players Charity Ineza, Umar Katumba, Stephanie Bolton, Amihan Jones  and 22 year old Jamil Kisubi
