Motocross riders renew rivalry

Blick together with other riders will renew their rivalry in the different categories to make it to the national team that will be competing in the FIM Africa Nations motocross championship.

Arthur Blick Jr. who missed the fourth round of the national championship in Busiika has confirmed his participation in next weekend's round  of the national motocross championship in Garuga.

Meanwhile the national motocross team is hunting for sh50m to field a full team in the FIM Africa National Motocross Championship in Nairobi Kenya next month, according to the FMU Deputy Vice President in charge of motocross, Ismail Balinda.

"We need sh50m to take a full squad of 40 riders to the championship in Nairobi," he said.

He explained that sh22.4m will cover team registration, Transponders on competitors' bikes, riders license fee,insurance and air evacuation to hospital in case of any eventuality.

Then sh28.6m will cover the riders accommodation, transport and feeding for the three days in Kenya.Uganda won the FIM Africa motocross championship in 2012 in Busiika in Luweero district.
