After picking up their first win of the season last Saturday more so in the absentia of their focal players, defending champions Pioneer will now turn their charges on Saturday's game against KICC at Lugogo as they further seek to relive the once upon a time glorious days in their camp.

Carol Namugenyi, Lelia Namaganda and team captain Barbra Mukankusi who didn't play in Pioneer's 66 runs triumph against Joselyn Nakato's Charity are finally back in action.

They had been suspended for one game after they had refused to engage in covering the wicket when they were required by the umpires during their game against Tornado Bee three weeks ago.

USPA best female cricketer of 2014, Pricco Nakitende,Daisy Wairimu and man of the match Abel Queentor had practically filled the void left by the three players.

Nakitende struck 58 from 106 balls as Pioneer picked six points at the Entebbe oval. Daisy Wairimu was in the mix with scores of 18 off 36 balls but it was Abel Queentor who displayed a man of the match performance with the claim of 5/20 in 8.1 overs.

"The Girls didn't disappoint in our absence and that win helped us gain confidence going forward" said Captain Barbra Mukankusi ahead of tomorrow's game.

KICC are seeking to recover from their 6 wickets loss against Jinja SS last weekend at Kyambogo with Claire Mushakamba claiming 4/9 in 6 overs.Tornado Bee are currently leading on 24 points
