Ali Ssekatawa has promised to take back URA FC at the summit of Ugandan football.
Ssekatawa made the remarks during the club's general assembly on Saturday at Ridar Hotel in Seeta, where he also bounced back for the third time as the club chairman.
"My first target is to atleast win one of the trophies this coming season. We are also going to ensure that the club returns to its winning ways. I believe we have the best technical team and players who can deliver that," Ssekatawa stated.
Ssekatawa who assumed the club's top position in 2011, contested for the seat with fellow URA staff member James Kizza.
Former club general secretary Henry Mayeku who was also in the race for the top position was locked out of the elections because the club's regulations indicate that one has to be a commissioner at URA to take the seat.
Ssekatawa won by 239 votes while Kizza secured 44 votes
