Hot Pool and Scrap Buyers renew the hot race for the top spot as the Senior Pool League hits the halfway mark on Saturday.

The two clubs remained upfront in a two-horse race last weekend after pulling incredible wins that left them square at 36 points each.  
    
Scrap Buyers who hit defending champions Skin Samona 14-11 will be looking to sign off the first round on a high as host Boat.

Centenary Bank sponsored Hot Pool who edged Icon 13-12 face off with Anchors.

In the meantime, holders Skin Samona will be keen to regain lost ground as they take on CKI as the Senior Pool League.

The Wakaliga slipped to third place after stumbling against Scrap Buyers 14-11 last weekend.

With 33 points at hand in third place, Samona will be out to piled pressure on leader Hot Pool and Scrap Buyer as the first round of the 16-team event concludes.

Hot Pool will rely on veteran Adam Ssebi, Habib Sebuguza and Alfred Gumikiriza as tjhey host hunter in Ntinda.

Skin Samona will be praying for Fahad Ssewankambo, Amos Ndyagumanawe, Uthman Bukenya, Dan Mubiru to regain their invincible form.
