Rally drivers camp in Hoima and Masindi

Rally drivers have camped in Masindi and Hoima since last week to be able to repeat route reccing as many times as possible.

First to head to the two districts were navigators and drivers followed on Monday as they target winning the Kabalega Rally.

Ronald Ssebuguzi, Ambrose Byona, Desh Kananura, Rauf Adam and others went travelled Wednesday to Hoima.

"This is going to be a tough event. No mistake should be done" Byona stated before leaving.

Forty crews have confirmed participation in the three day event which is the fourth on the NRC calendar and will cover 271km of which 145.3km are competitive.

"I think every driver wants to write history by winning the first event in the region after two decades without having a rally in the region" Byona added.

Ronald Ssebuguzi, Jas Mangat, Desh Kananura and Arthur Blick Jr. are all expected to fight for podium places.
