The battle between national swimmer and Dolphins Elisha Tibatemwa against Seals South African trainer Darren Murray has so far been the contest of the championship.

On day one Darren Murray and Tibatemwa's photo finish in the 50m butterfly provided the highlight of the day when they both came home in 27.33 in the 50m butterfly race in the 15&Over category.

On Friday the two alongside Otters' Emmanuel Ndonga kept fans of both camps on their toes as they competed in the 100m Individual Medley and 100m breaststroke events.

Ndoga (1:04.32) beat Tibatemwa (1:04.37) by 5 microseconds in the 100m IM with Murray finishing third in 1:04.74 before Tibatemwa paid back in the breaststroke winning in 1:11.88 as Ndonga and Murray followed in 1:17.35 and 1:18.00 respectively.

Today swimmers are going to battle in the short races where competition is expected to increase and of course provide more excitement in the terraces.
