Lord Mayor off to Singapore

The Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago, has left for Singapore to attend an International conference, the first since he assumed office last month.

Shortly before he flew out of Entebbe International Airport, Lukwago posted on his Facebook wall: "Off to Singapore to participate in a 5-day Annual World Cities Summit /Mayors' Forum 2016."

This year's summit will focus on ''Innovative Cities of Opportunities '' under the broad theme; ''Liveable and Sustainable Cities''.

Have a blessed week, dear friends," he also posted his photograph at the airport with his handbag by his side.
