NCS is registering all sports governing bodies in the country under the Trusteeship Act but they have disagreed with FUFA over the exercise.

Global soccer governing body FIFA has assigned its legal counsel Rolf Tanner and Luca Nicola to mediate between local football governing body FUFA and the country's National Council of Sports (NCS) in Kampala next week.

NCS is registering all sports governing bodies in the country under the Trusteeship Act but they have disagreed with FUFA over the exercise.

FUFA insists they can't oblige to the demand because it contravenes the FIFA statute.

FUFA president Moses Magogo, who is currently in Zurich asked the Ministry of Education and Sports to meet FIFA officials for them to understand effects of the demand before his administration can take the risk.

FUFA has confirmed arrival of the FIFA delegation and said that, "details in relation to the meeting on Tuesday will be released soon".
FUFA however said that they have fulfilled all other requirements of the new guidelines from NCS save for the trustees required before council can issue a certificate of registration.

NCS general secretary Nicholas Muramagi said that meeting whereas the government will be guided by laws of the country the council was willing to listen to FIFA.
