They expect to set a date for the fans outside Kampala to also have a feel of the trophy

It will be the first of its kind as KCCA FC celebrates with their fans over their accomplishment of winning the Azam Uganda Premier League last season through ‘hard work'.

The three-day trophy parade that starts tomorrow will be conducted within the five administrative divisions of Kampala and will be led by musicians Radio and Weasel.

The divisions of Kampala include; Central, Kawempe, Nakawa, Makindye and Lubaga.

"It's a way of giving back to the fans for the support they showed us during the entire season. We want the fans to feel that they also did a lot to the team's victory. This will also help to enlarge our fan base," KCCA FC CEO David Tamale stated.

He added that they expect to set a date for the fans outside Kampala to also have a feel of the trophy.

KCCA has already obtained approval by Uganda Police to kick off the celebrations.

The trophy parade will start from Soliz House, Lumumba Avenue (sponsor Startimes headquarters) to Old Taxi Park, St. Balikuddembe market, William street and Arua Park on day one.

Areas of Nateete, Makindye, Katwe, Kibuye will also get a glimpse of the trophy. A rewards dinner at Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo will wind-up the celebrations.

The Lugogo side will also have a West Nile tour where they will play Onduparaka on August 13 ahead of the 2016/2017 season.
