Another Ugandan thriller to hit cinemas this July

Ugandan movie makers have been one lot of unlucky folks, well financially but it seems like their resilience has kept them focused and they won't let anybody tell them what they don't believe in.

A brand new movie ‘The Only Son' is set to premier on July 22nd in a purely red carpet event at the Kampala Serena Hotel.

This much awaited blockbuster is about a rich family trying to teach their son Davis the way of life to get ahead other than expecting wealth on a silver platter from his descendants.

Davis has to do some real hard labour to make it in life by himself.

Those who have seen the templates on the timeline have already dubbed it the Ugandan expendable movie simply because of the strong cast herein, call it the Ugandan movie industry royalty.

It includes Bobby Tamale who plays "The Only Son", Veteran actor Michael Wawuyo Snr, Reigning Uganda Film Festival best actor and actress Mutebi Farooq and Nisha Kalema, the legendary Raymond Rushabiro, Bbale Felix Bwanika alongside a huge ensemble of others.

Proceeds from the Movie Premiere will be directed to EDYAC, a Non Profitable Organization that aims at transforming the disadvantage youth, and children.
