Uganda Cranes striker Davis Kasirye was in high spirits on Monday evening as his side Rayon Sports defeated rivals APR FC 1-0  to win the 2016 Peace Cup title at the final on Monday at Amahoro Stadium in Rwanda.

Rayon Sport's victory came in the added minutes of the game, as Ismael Diarra from Mali netted the only goal.
 
They also walked away with Rwf. 8 million cash prize from Rwanda Football Federation and will represent Rwanda at next year's CAF Confederation Cup.

APR FC who were runners-up received Rwf 4 million while AS Kigali who beat Espoir Fc 1-0  to win the third place-off game got Rwf. 1.5 million.

Rayon Sport won their ninth Peace Cup title.
